Tickets to Italy’s top attractions: official websites and trusted resources
A curated list of the best resources to buy tickets to Italy’s top attractions. The list has official websites so you can buy direct and links to reliable third party ticket providers.

Tickets to Italian biggest attractions sells out fast. So, it is important to secure them as soon as they come available.
Each attraction operated independently: this means that each place and each provider has different purchase timings, as well as different prices and rules about reduced rates (for kids, for instance).
I recommend you start looking at tickets as soon as you have your travel date, then take a note of release day should you be too early. You can also use our guide ‘when to book what‘ to help with timelines.
On this page, you find quick links to tickets to the most popular attractions in Italy.
For each attractions, I have listed a link to the official site and links to reliable providers of entrance tickets I trust and use myself.
Need to know
In general:
Buying direct form the official site is the cheapest way to secure tickets and they are an excellent option. The downsides to gong direct are the lack of flexibility (in most cases, tickets are non changeable and non refundable) and the fact that you need to familiarize with different websites for each.
Buying from third parties comes with the disadvantage of a higher cost. They do however often come with better cancellation options and they tend to have an easier interface. If you book several via one platform, you also have the advantage of having all in one place.
Personally, I use all the options on this page and find them all excellent, which is why I feel like recommending the.
I hope you find it useful!
Good to know! Tickets to Italian big attractions are timed: when booking, you select your preferred entry time and, on the day, you directly to the ticket holders’ entrance. Timed tickets are all skip the line. The only line is the bottleneck for ticket check/ security. This line cannot be skipped but moves fast.
